January 17

  • Because of the 2 hour delay next Tuesday, January 21, there will not be Mass at 7:15am, but Mass will be offered at 3:15pm instead.  There will still be Confessions during lunch on Tuesday.
  • Reminder for all the Saints going to March for Life to Indy on Wednesday:  Dress warm and in layers - boots, gloves, hat, etc.;  we are leaving by 6am - check in is at 5:45am in the SAC lobby; we will be returning by 6pm; there is a mandatory meeting on Tuesdeay to review our pilgrimage; remember you must also wear your ID lanyards.  Any questions?  See Mrs. Yorke.
  • The Medical Club's meeting next Tuesday has been cancelled.
  • Attention Boys who are interested in joining the BD Boys Golf Team.  There will be a short meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 29th, after school, in the Library, with Coach Fink.  Please see Mr. Slee if you have any questions.  
  • We would like to invite you to an informational meeting about our upcoming adventure to Spain and the South of France in the Summer of 2026.  This trip promises to be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to explore vibrant cultures, historical landmarks, and beautiful landscapes. The meeting is going to be held on January 29th at 6:30 pm at the school library. If you have any questions, please contact Señora Voelker in rm. 210.
  • Philomena's Friends will meet next Tuesday in the Library after school.
  • Next Wednesday, January 23rd there will be a Dress Down Day sponsored by the Student Council.  Proceeds will go towards those affected by the wild fires in California.  $1 to dress down or feel free to give more.  


January 15

  • Baking Saints will have a meeting on Tuesday, January 21 from 3:15-3:30 in room 140 - The Resource Room.  Hope to see you all here!
  • Attention, BDHS Medical Club members: Our next meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 21st, at 7a.m. in the library. If you have not done so already, please bring $10 to pay your club dues.

  • There will be three Open Gym sessions for BD Boys Volleyball -  Jan 21st, 28th and Feb. 6th in the SAC Gym at 7:00 pm.  Any Boys who are interested in the Volleyball team, who are not currently in a winter sport, should plan to attend.  Players will need a completed IHSAA Physical and Concussion/Cardiac Arrest forms turned in to the AD prior to the tryouts on March 10th.  Please see Mr. Slee if you have any questions.

January 14

  • March for Life Registration is Due this week 1/17/25.  See Mrs. Yorke in Pastoral Ministry for permission slips and if you have any questions.

January 13

  • S.E.A. will be collecting recycling this week on Tuesday and Wednesday. Please meet in room 112 by 3:05. Thank you to all who help sort. Your diligence makes Dwenger a Greener place. 
  • Spanish Conversation Dinner will be today at 6:30 pm at Jalapenos Mexican Restaurant.
  • Book Club will meet Tuesday after school. This will be a short meeting choosing our next book.
  • There will be a social studies academic meeting from 3:05 to 3:30 Tuesday in room 231.

January 10

  • There will be Mass today after school with Fr. Caleb at 3:10pm.  All are welcome.
  • The Dungeons and Dragons Club will resume meeting this Friday after school in the Library from 3 to 4:30. If interested in joining, please see Mr. Tomlinson for details.
  • Keys Club will be meeting next Monday, January 13th at 7:25 in the cafeteria. If you are unable to attend or if you have any questions, see Mrs. Horne in Guidance.
  • Attention Lady Saints Soccer Team, there will be a short meeting with Coach McCaig in the Library on Tuesday, Jan 14th after school at 3:20 for members of the 2024 Fall Lady Saints Soccer Team.   
  • Saintuary Shirts are on sale until January 17th.  Check Canvas for the order form.  If you have any questions, see Ms. Wolf in room 123.
  • All young men interested in baseball please attend a short meeting in the weight room immediately after school on Tuesday, January 14th.  Please see Coach Garrett if you are unable to attend.

We can fill two charter buses.  The first Saints to return their completed permission slips and registration money of $50 to Mrs. Yorke in Pastoral Ministry will attend the one day pilgrimage. Sack lunch will be provided.  There will also be a mandatory Pre pilgrimage meeting to attend.  The schedule will be included with the permission slip. It's a 6am depart from BD and about 6pm return. This will count for list hours. Come be a voice for Life!

January 9

  • English and Fine Arts Academic Teams will meet after schooltoday in Mrs. Wheeler's room 121.  Please arrive by 3:10 and we will finish by 3:45. Any questions, see Mrs. Wheeler.
  • Check Canvas for the order form to order your "The Saintuary" shirt! This shirt is the official shirt of our BD student spirit section. The underclassman shirt is blue with white lettering, and the Senior shirt is white with blue lettering. The Senior shirt also has the class graduation year on the back! If you would like to order a shirt, please print the order form, and turn in your form and payment to Ms. Wolf in room 123. All orders need to be turned in by the end of the school day by noon on January 17th. If you have any questions, please email Ms. Wolf at cwolf@bishopdwenger.com.

  • Hey everyone!  Guess what?  Ping Pong is back this semester, and we're ready to serve up some serious fun!  We welcome all to play after school on Tuesdays and Thursday beginning TODAY in the cafeteria.  We are pleaying every week until the end of February.  Come and have some fun after school!

January 7

  • The bus for Euell Wilson tutors leaves at 3:15pm today.  The bus will be at the Grotto.
  • Game Club will resume meeting this Wednesday and every Wednesday after school from 3 to 4:30. All are welcome to join the fun!
  • Recycling will take place today and Wednesday this week. Please meet in room 112 by 3:05 to get some quick updated instructions and then we will get started. It is never to early to start thinking about your service hours. Recycling still counts for list and flex hours. If you have any Questions, Please stop in and see Mrs. Walker any time! 
  • Science Academic team will hold its first meeting next week on Monday starting at 3:05 and going till 3:35. If you have any questions or you missed the initial call out meeting for academic team, please stop in and see Mrs. Walker with any Questions.
